Jaish associate held in Pulwama

Srinagar, Feb 19: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a militant associate of the Jaish-e-Mohammad militant outfit in the Rohmoo area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A police spokesman in a statement said the accused Irfan Yousuf Dar son of Mohd Yousuf Dar resident of Rohmoo Pulwama was arrested by a joint team of Police, 53 RR and CRPF 183 Bn.

From his possession one AK rifle, one magazine and 30 rounds of ammunition have been recovered, police said adding a case FIR No 13/2022 under relevant sections of law has been lodged at Police Station Rajpora and investigation set into motion.
