Rajouri Encounter: Army Officer Killed, Three Soldiers Injured

SRINAGAR: An army officer has been killed and at least three soldiers sustained injuries in an ongoing encounter in Rajouri, officials said.

The officials told news agencyKashmir Scroll that an army officer of 'Captain' rank attained martyrdom during the ongoing exchange of gunfire. Identifying the slain army officer as Major MV Pranjil, the official further said that three soldiers have also sustained injuries.
