Baramulla:-3rd March 2022: As a part of the Public outreach programme, today a police public meeting was held at Police Post Palhallan. SDPO Pattan, Shri Mohammad Nawaz-JKPS was the chief guest of the public meeting. A warm welcome was given to SDPO Pattan by the public of village Palhallan. The meeting was also attended by SHO PS Pattan Inspector Nisar Ahmad, IC PP Palhallan, SI Ather Parvaiz and staff of subdivision Pattan. Public from all corners of Palhallan including respectable Citizens, members of Auqaf Committees, Numberdars, Chowkidars, Traders Federation and Fruit Associations attended the public meeting. 

During the interaction, Participants raised various issues of Public importance.    SDPO listened to the grievances patiently and thereafter assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area and issues will be taken up with concerned departments for their early redressal.

The Participants were stressed to co-operate with Police and administration in maintaining L&O/ drug menace in the area and in identifying anti-national/ social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.

The general public of Palhallan thanked SDPO Pattan for visiting and Police Sub Division Pattan for conducting such a meeting and building a bridge of trust between police and the public. Public of village requested for regular meetings in future as well.
