Shia Muslims in Srinagar protest against Peshawar suicide blast

Srinagar, Mar 05: Scores of members of the Shia community staged a candle-light protest in the Hassanabad area of Srinagar against the suicide blast at Shia Masjid in Pakistan’s Peshawar Pakistan in which at least 58 people were killed and dozens of others injured.
Scores of people including kids assembled in the Hassanabad area and condemned the suicide bomb attack in a Shia Masjid at Peshawar.
The protesters claimed that it was not an attack on the Shia community, but on the whole Muslim world.
“We appeal the administration in Pakistan to ensure strict punishment to the culprits behind the act,” they said.
