J&K reports 12 positive cases, no fatality

Srinagar, March 14: Jammu and Kashmir on Monday recorded 12 positive cases of novel Coron-Virus or (COVID-19) which includes 09 from Jammu and 03 from Kashmir divisions, taking the total number of positive cases in the Union Territory to 453460.
Moreover, 37 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 15 from Jammu and 22 from Kashmir divisions.
The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported in the last 24 hours, thus the total number of confirmed cases stands at 51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 14,872 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,17,11,745.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 453460 positive cases, 217 are Active Positive (92 in Jammu Division and 125 in Kashmir Division), 448493 have recovered and 4750 have died; 2327 in Jammu division and 2423 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23847105 test results available, 453460 samples have tested positive and 23393645 samples have been tested as negative to date. Besides, 31662 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date, 6231632 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 33238 persons in-home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 217 in isolation and 456698 in-home surveillance. Besides, 5736729 persons have completed their surveillance period.
