The conference, themed "The Status of the Kashmiri Language in Jammu Province: Possibilities and Challenges," was attended by prominent writers, poets, scholars, and intellectuals from across Jammu & Kashmir.

The event opened with a traditional Kashmiri ceremony, featuring verses from Sheikh-ul-Alam and Lall Ded, recited by Jaweed Iqbal Mawaari, Vice President of Adbi Markaz Kamraz.
