Fire Breaks Out in Uttursha Village on Eid, Indian Army 30 RR Swiftly Responds

Langate, April,01: A sudden fire broke out at House No. 39 in Uttursha village of Hiral Langate while residents were celebrating Eid al-Fitr. The timely response of the Indian Army’s 30 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) averted a major disaster, saving lives and property.

 

Upon receiving the information, the jawans of 30 RR Langate rushed to the scene and played a crucial role in firefighting and debris clearance. Their swift action prevented casualties and further damage.

 

Local residents expressed gratitude to the army personnel, with ex-elected representatives, including the Sarpanch, Lumberdar, and ward members, praising their prompt response. They highlighted the army’s commitment to civilian welfare, particularly during festive occasions.

 

A police official from Handwara confirmed that local police, along with volunteers and the Fire & Emergency Services, also assisted in controlling the fire. He stated that the house was a wooden structure, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.

 

“There was no loss of life or injuries reported. A case has been registered, and efforts are ongoing to ascertain the reason behind the fire,” the police official said.

 

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Indian Army, police, and emergency services, the fire was successfully contained, ensuring the safety of the residents. The incident stands as a testament to the Indian Army’s dedication to both security and humanitarian assistance:locals.
