Omar Abdullah Mocks INDIA Bloc as BJP Gains in Delhi Polls

HT NEWS DESK

New Delhi, Feb 10 : As early trends in the Delhi Assembly elections showed the BJP crossing the halfway mark, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah took a jibe at his INDIA alliance partners over their infighting.

Sharing a GIF of a sadhu saying “Ji bhar kar lado” (fight to your heart’s content), Omar posted on X: “Aur lado aapas mein!!!” (Keep fighting amongst yourselves).

His remarks come as AAP and Congress, former allies, contested separately— a move seemingly benefiting the BJP. Omar, who has previously criticized discord within the alliance, reiterated that if INDIA is only for Lok Sabha polls, it should be dissolved; otherwise, unity is essential for Assembly elections too.
