Srinagar: January-26, 2025: Father of Shahid Rasheed Senior Journalist and Editor in Chief, New State Reporter, Jb Gulam Mohammad Tantray passed away today after brief illness at his residence in Parniwah,
Budgam(RIP).
The journalist fraternity has condoled the sad demise and prayed
for the eternal peace and Jannah for the departed soul. President JK
Media Guild, Mir Ajaz Ahmad, Vice President, Bilal Bazaz and General
Secretary, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bazaz expressed grief and sorrow on the
sad demise of the father of the editor, New State Reporter. The Journalist leaders prayed to Almighty Allah for the highest place in Jannah for the departed soul. "The journalist Community stands with Shahid Rasheed at this hour of grief" said President JKMG Mir Ajaz Ahmad.
A delegation of Journalist fraternity is visiting the bereaved family on 26.01.2025, to pay homage to the departed soul.
