Srinagar: HF Foundation Kashmir on Sunday organised legendary singer GM Dar and Ab Rashid Farash Memorial Annaul Award function at Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute Habbak Srinagar Kashmir. Many artists, poets, writers, social activists, photo journalists, social activists and actors were felicitated.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman HF Foundation Arshid Dar highlighted the role played by the awardees in their respective fields. A pen sketch by a young artist Ishfar was awarded to the family of Farash.
The Annual Ab. Rashid Farash and G M Dar was awarded to Shahanaz Rashid who was also the guest of the honour. Rashid was awarded for his immense contribution to art & culture of Kashmiri poetry.
Dr. Satish Vimal, Imdad Saqi were the awardees besides Tahir Bagat and Saima for her role as an inspiring sports expert.
The programe was hosted by Mushtaque B Barq.
The function was attended by media personnel and guests from other fields.
