PAK man handed over to police in Poonch

Poonch, Mar 01: The 27-years-old man from Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK), who was detained yesterday while sneaking into this side, has been handed over to police by the Indian Army for further investigation.
He has been identified as Dilshan Ahmed (28) son of Muhammad Sayeed resident of Hajira PaK.
Officials said the man was trying to infiltrate from the Line of Control last evening when alert army troops manning LoC in Balnoi intercepted him and detained him.
“The man was kept in a local army camp for investigation and questioning after which he was handed over to local police this afternoon for further investigation,” they said.
Officials said questioning of the man from Pak is on and legal formalities have also been initiated.
“He has so far been found to be suffering from some anxiety and has failed to answer most of the questions. Investigating agencies are trying to ascertain his motive behind infiltration,” the officials said.
