PM to visit J&K next month: LG Greets people on Sant Guru Ravidas Jayanti

Jammu, Feb 15: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Tuesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Jammu and Kashmir next month to preside over the launch of the ian industrial investment ceremony worth Rs 20,000 to 25,000 crore.
"During my recent visit to the capital, I met the Prime Minister and requested him to preside over an industrial investment function of about Rs 20,000 to 25,000 crore in Jammu and Kashmir,” Sinha informed while dedicating 20 power projects to the people of Jammu here at BBaxalta
"The Prime Minister will participate in the ceremony scheduled in March,” he stated.
Sinha added that industrialists under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have shown interest in investment in Jammu and Kashmir and this will generate employment opportunities for the youth.
Notably, in 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited The Rajouri district of Jammu on Diwali.
Meanwhile, Sinha greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Sant Guru Ravidas Jayanti.
In a message, the Lt Governor said Guru Ji's vision on humanism, social equality; compassion and justice have great relevance today.
“I bow to Sant Guru Ravidas Ji on his Jayanti. Guru Ji's eternal teachings guided humanity to lead a virtuous and noble life. His ideals to end all discrimination based on caste, colour and creed are a source of inspiration for us to create a just and humane society,” the Lt Governor added.
May this auspicious occasion bring sustained peace and progress in the UT and prosperity in the lives of the people, the Lt Governor prayed.
