Students suffer, department watching like mute spectators

Kreeri, Dec 31: Much to the disappointment of the students, the positions of lecturers are lying vacant
In Government Higher Secondary school Kreeri from last many years.
According to the official sources, GHSSK don’t have adequate staff for the various classes, which is cause of concern for the students.
Principal GHSSK, Showkat Ahmad confirmed to Headlines Today that many posts are lying vacant in the institution.
According to him, a physics lecturer post has been vacant from August 2021, Lecturer Political Science is vacant from 2019, Lecture Education is vacant from 2012, Lecturer Urdu is vacant from July 2019, Lecturer Punjabi is vacant from 1990, Lecturer Persian is vacant from 2018, Furthermore it's also learnt from the highly placed sources that two to four master grade posts are also vacant from March 2019.
When contacted, Director Education Kashmir, Tasaduq was not available for the comments.
Government Higher Secondary school Kreeri is one of the oldest institutions where the students of the entire area learn for their bright future and also to achieve the goals for their conscientious purposes.
“So many personalities and identities like scholars, university professors, Bureaucrats, novelists, poets, Doctors and many other characters are passed out from this institute but nowadays it comes off as defunct due to the non-availability of preceptors which put a very bad impression on the students of the whole area and necessitates them to get the entries on other private institutions,” said one of the parents.
Another parent told Headlines Today that after the abrogation of article 370 and due to the Covid 19 pandemic, education system is badly affected. “We are not able to get the offline lectures for the last two years, the other side education department is in deep slumber to fill the vacancies to make the better education system for the future of our students,” said one of the students.
