Mega Enrollment Drive Boosts Student Admissions at Boys GHS Lachampora, Rajwar

 

Handwara,Mar,17: In A major push towards increasing student enrollment, a grand event was held at Government Boys High School Lachampora in Education Zone Rajwar as part of the District-wide Mega Enrollment Drive.

 

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from educational authorities, local representatives, and community stakeholders, all working towards the shared goal of improving literacy and ensuring access to quality education.

 

The Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Rajwar, Shabir Ahmad Badana, presided over the event, accompanied by Cluster Head, Headmaster of Boys GHS Lachampora, Mushtaq Ahmad, former Sarpanch of Halqa Lachampora, Mohd Maqbool Mir, along with other Heads of Institutions (HOIs), officials, and local stakeholders. Their collective presence underscored the education department’s commitment to reaching out to more students and strengthening the educational ecosystem.

 

A significant highlight of the drive was the on-the-spot enrollment of over 50 students, marking a positive response from the community. The initiative is expected to contribute significantly to increasing school attendance and improving educational outcomes in the region.

 

Addressing the gathering, ZEO Rajwar lauded the efforts of all those involved in the campaign and encouraged them to persist in their mission of enhancing literacy rates. He emphasized that such enrollment drives are crucial in making education accessible to every child in Rajwar and across the Kupwara district.

 

The enrollment drive not only served as a platform to welcome new students but also reinforced the importance of education in community development.
