Handwara,Mar 25: Handwara Police have carried out searches at multiple locations, including the residences of individuals allegedly linked to the banned organization Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (G). The searches were conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into Case FIR No. 07/2024 registered at Handwara Police Station.
According to officials, law enforcement agencies executed these operations to gather evidence related to activities associated with the proscribed organization. "During the searches, incriminating material was recovered, which is being analyzed as part of the investigation," an official statement said.
Authorities have not disclosed specific details about the recovered material but confirmed that the investigation remains active. "Further legal action will be taken based on the findings," the official added.
The move comes as part of ongoing efforts by security agencies to curb activities linked to banned organizations in the region. Law enforcement officials have reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and taking strict action against individuals or groups involved in unlawful activities.
