Langate Holds Candlelight March to Condemn Killing of Retired Army Jawan in Kulgam

Langate, Feb,04: In A heartfelt display of unity and condemnation against terrorism, the people of Langate held a candlelight march on Monday evening to protest the brutal killing of a retired Army jawan in Kulgam, South Kashmir. The march, attended by a large number of residents, was a tribute to the fallen soldier and a call for peace in the region.
The candle light march was organized by civil society members, trade and transport bodies, youth forums, social activists, and students, this march began from Main Chowk Langate, with participants holding candles and banners, raising their voices against the ongoing violence. The demonstrators expressed their grief, anger, and solidarity, demanding an end to senseless killings that continue to disrupt lives and families.
"The barbaric killing is an affront to humanity," said a local youth while speaking to the media, echoing the collective sentiment of the crowd. Many participants called for justice and emphasized the need for peace and security in the region.
